OVERVIEW
The proposed scheme involved the redevelopment of a former car dealership site to create a mixed use development over three blocks. The accommodation consists of two large office units on the ground floor of the two tall blocks, with a mix of 1,2 & 3 bed apartments over the following 7 & 10 storeys. a third 4 storey block will create a further 8 maisonettes.
NuPlanet were appointed to undertake a BREEAM Pre-assessment and provided supporting Energy Strategy and Sustainability statements at the planning stage. We also carried out an Overheating Analysis using IES VE software to demonstrate TM59 & TM52 compliance. This was then used to develop the final ventilation strategy for the whole building.
