OVERVIEW
JDRM Architects obtained full planning approval for a large detached 5-bedroom house on a vacant plot in the village of Cuckfield, West Sussex.
NuPlanet were appointed to carry out an early energy strategy & M&E Building Services design with the brief to reduce Carbon emissions by at least 70%. The solution was an efficient building fabric design, low air tightness, MVHR, and Air Source Heat Pump systems to provide the heating & hot water demand.
The house has also been designed with a Lutron lighting system along with other Home Automated systems.
The new homeowners will also benefit from fast electric car charging points.
